Utah- Salt Lake City Area

It was a beautiful drive into Salt Lake area. The hills had wonderful fall colors that we didn't expect.

Brine shrimp are harvested here for fisheries around the world. We did a little science lesson and scooped up a few. The Great Salt Lake is very low due to drought, so we saw a lot of salt flat.

We just spent one night as we passed through Salt Lake City. It was enough to see the Lake and teach a good lesson on the pseudo-Christian cults as we discussed Utah's Mormon influence.
