We drove around the Smokies to Townsend Tennessee to explore Great Smoky Mountain National Park. (Auntie Moo gets to be part of a state line photo!)

It's easy to see where the name comes from on a perfect, clear day.

The final leg of the hike to the tallest point in the Smokies is up a spiral ramp to the observation platform.
