During our short stay in the Savannah area we enjoyed a leisurely walk through the historic town square park system of old Savannah. We were surprised that Savannah has just as much Revolutionary War history as it does Civil War.
Besides a walking tour of the town, we toured the Owens Thomas House a classic early 1800's home with our traveling friends the Goldfines.
We stayed here with the Goldfines during our last rendezvous before heading off in different directions for the rest of each of our trips.
Our good friends the Wiselys made us a special quilt with a square for each state to decorate on our trip. We had the Goldfines sign a square for one of the six states where we had met each other. (Oregon, Texas, Lousiana, Alabama, Florida, and Georgia)
